Edna Smart came to Britain on the 30th of April, 1955 and was part of the Windrush generation of migrants to the UK.
What was the Windrush?
Edna arrived from Jamaica with only a suitcase to hand, but filled her home in Stockport with her memories, her stories and a life full of culture and excitement.
